It is ironic that today is five years ago to the day of his televised return from a similar injury he had suffered on May 21, 2001, in San Jose.

Michaels, meanwhile, has shown signs of being very worn down by the schedule and in need of time off himself, increasingly so over the last year. The Triple H injury puts more pressure on him to work through his fatigue and nagging injuries (including continuing issues with his lower back, which forced his retirement at one point) at least through fall. - PWTtorch

Top 10 Albums of 2006

For those in the know, the PWT Awards are out!

There is an extremely great chance that this blog will NEVER get updated. I've been having alot of trouble logging in to post new stuff. Long story short, I have to go through too much crap to get logged in so .. umm.. there.

Of the useless projects I'm working on:

The Top 100 movies of the 60's: There a crapload of stuff I have to watch, mostly foreign stuff like French films and Igmar Bergman. So I figured I'd just do the Top 100, the after watching all the rest from Netflix, do a 2.0 or something'. Thank God for the coolness of Criterion and Netflix!!!

The Top 100 albums of the 70's: Actually this'll be easier than I worried over. There was so many good stuff but I sat down and listed the MUST HAVE'S and it totaled over 80. So now it's just a matter of picking out the last stuff, which will be super difficult, but not as hard as I'd thought. I'm leaning towards adding some "Best Of" albums if they're a great representative of their music (Ex: Elton John, CCR..)

The Top 100 songs of the 80's: Haven't started. I'm foreseeing not too much trouble but who knows? Again this'll be more of what do I take off than getting to 100.

Top 100 Wrestling matches of the 90's: I've got everything I need to finish this up pretty quick with the exception of lucha libre :-( I'm gonna ask around for what the big ones were in the 90's that I need to check out.

Some other good ones I ran across are Thom Yorke - The Eraser and Tom Waits - Orphans and Bastards. Still haven't heard the new Tom Petty or Sinic Youth stuff.. Not much to say. While not their greatest, Muse had an awesome album this year. it sounds great as singles or listening to the whole thing at once. Ghostface Killah was the surprise album, it kicked ass and is probably the best rap album I've heard since Dr. Dre's last one. Bruce Springsteen album reminds me of the folk singers in the movie "A Mighty Wind", but damned if it didn't grow on me..
